Prior to starting Bespoke Writing Firm, I helped guide the nation-wide strategic direction and growth of private-foundation giving for a large, national nonprofit. Through my efforts, I empowered a national network of grant writers and fundraising professionals with tools and knowledge to successfully generate revenue in their local communities. As a result, the foundation fundraising segment was able to meet and exceed a high, eight-figures fundraising goal.
Moreover, I assembled strong program cases for support by composing well-researched and persuasive narratives to produce priority-program grant writing templates strategically comprised of relevant data-driven need-justifications, trend analyses and compelling story. These grant proposal templates were used nation-wide; therefore, they were considered a best-practice for solicitation across the national organization (including multi-sector lines of giving). I also trained fundraisers on how to authentically solicit for these programs.
I’m now at my next chapter in my career where I get to work with multiple nonprofits and share my passion: to deliver a product that allows nonprofits the opportunity to strongly advocate for their missions—through relevant data and compelling story—so that it resonates with funders.
